I obtained a 500 GB USB from Seagate four months ago. It was quite useful. I
had backed up 350 GB data on it before i now decided to check the data on
the drive. I had exposed all hidden files and upon checking the data, i
noticed some files that were not recognisable. I decided to delete these
files before i realised they were the Hard Drives system files. These files
had allowed the Hard Drive to bootup and be recognised from PC Computers and
Macs.

Please can you assist in advising me how to repair this hard drive.

Everytime i connect the hard drive to any pc either directly or otherwise, a
display comes up showing "No fixed drive found"

I'm trying to get my sound to work on my laptop. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled and it has not worked. Can anyone help me?

I don't know why but it seem I lost USB Universal Host
Controller from my XP machine.
Last time on Control Panel => System =>Device Manager,
I still see it name was ... + " - 27C ".
and know the " - 27C " is missing from the name.
How to retrieve it back.

Do we can enable/disable RS232C connection on
windows xp PC.One of my software seem cannot
detect some devices connected via RS232C
connection.

What might cause this problem?Any ideas?

Sometimes I need to enable and disable additional
of usb to my pc.I know that the first step is type
'regedit' on start ==> run... but don't know the next step.
Would somebody like to help how to done the next
step.I work with windows xp.
