Don't know about dual-monitor setups but ... there's a freeware tweak
called, IIRC, "Restore Desktop Icons." I can't find the reference to
it on my computer. Perhaps someone else can help.
It puts a right-click entry on the trash icon and the mycomputer icon.
You can save and restore your icon layouts.
