Can one force TaskManager to come up with a specific sort criterion?

The first thing I always do when I fire up task manager is to select the
Processes tab and then to click onto the CPU column to see the top CPU
hogs.
And I actually have to click twice here, because at first it sorts
ascending (i.e. highest CPU usage at bottom) and then again, to sort
descending to see the hogs at the top.

Can't one force TaskManager to always come up with these settings
already selected? E.g. via some registry entry?

I've often wondered in passing about this myself; it's a shame there were no
answers!

Not that I've ever found online or by searching the registry for the
right entries.
