I have an HP laptop with an AMD Athlon 64 bit processor running Windows XP
Professional version 5.1 w/ SP 2. It has recently started to run very slow,
with any activity taking a lot longer than it normally has in the past. I
checked the System Information page under System Tools within Accessories.
The following specs indicate to me that something other than my available
resources could be causing this problem. My total Physical Memory is:
1,280.00Mb, Available Physical Memory: 391.59 (why is such a small amount of
total memory available?), total Virtual Memory: 2.00Gb, Available Virtual
Memory: 1.96Gb, Page File Space 1.85Gb. Would these numbers indicate
something is creating this problem, or are there other areas or resources I
should be looking at. Any suggestions would be much...
