Programm tries to install always at startup

Hi,

on my windows XP I tried once to install a "Homepage maker 2", but
uninstalled it. Now, every time at bootup, some program tries to
install "Homepage maker 2" again. I need to click about 8 times of
'cancel' to stop the program to try to install this program again. And
this happens EVERY time after boot! I checked the standard places
where autostart-programs are put, suchs as the ini-files, but cannot
find any obvious.
So how can I find out what program tries to install "Homepage maker
2"? I would appreciate any help with this issue.

Cheers
Alex

Alex, try going to Start>Run type: msconfig click Ok. Select
Startup Tab. Look for
an entry in left panel that refers to Homepage maker. If there Uncheck
click Apply, Ok.

Hi,

thanks for your help, but nowhere in the startup tab or the services
tab I can found anything that somewhat refers to this "Homepage
maker".
Maybe there is a way to find out what processes have a window on the
desktop? Or some other place I can look for this stupid process?

Thanks
Alex

Look in C:\Program Files for a Homepage Folder. If there, delete.
Did you uninstall
Homepage Maker using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel?
