  Quick Launch

Author: dama1

The Help & Support Center advises to add icons to quick launch by draging
them from "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer". Unfortunately, I couldn't find
the IE "Blue E" or the OE "Envelope" anywhere in those two locations. They're
in the Start Menu, but they won't drag and drop from there (there's a black
circle with a slash through it over the icon when this is attempted). The
answer is probably easy, but I'm stumped. Thanks for any help.

Does Windows XP Home allow me to restore the previous version of an overwritten file?

I thought it was possible to go to older versions, but I don't
remember how.

After a virus infection, I had to reinstall windows. Fortunately my
internet explorer's well developed bookmark file was on a second
drive. Then I accidentally over-wrote the bookmark file with a much
reduced basic version.

Is there some way for me to recover a previous version?

Thanks in advance for your help!
