Finally, could someone help me to solve this riddle?

When working in Word sometimes the position of keyboard on screen eats
my letter/s so it's very annoying, it comes back every 5-6months and
eats my letter and whole words like a monster. Very upset as always
cause don't know how to fix it .

Thanks.

Installing or upgrading programs - Closing open programs

Author: Don Schmidt

Often, you see the notice to close any open programs when installing or
upgrading a program.

Question: Does this include the programs running in the systray? (the icons
adjacent to the clock)

Many thanks.

  Searching Network drive in WinXP

Author: Rich W.
Date: Apr 15, 2008 11:20

On a user's laptop, he goes out to a network drive to Search for a particular
file type, by clicking on the Start Button, going to Find Files or folders
then entering the file spec (*.dwg) and chooses a particular Network drive.

The results are returned instantaneously. There are no files in the returned
results. The odd thing is that I can find files of that type on the drive.

The other noteworthy aspect is that I can search other network drives or his
local drives and find files of that type. The search utility takes an
appropriate amount of time.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Rich

  screen resolution

Author: flankernumber7

I'm wondering if anyone could help:

My screen resolution is locked on the lowest setting 800x600 pixels.
Every time I try and move the setting to the highest, the screen goes weird
and there is a partial view of a box in the far top left corner of the
screen. After a few seconds, the screen goes black and then goes back to the
"normal" low res screen.
Also, I have noticed that on the display properties and settings screen, in
the scroll down menu, it has the option of;
1. Plug and Play Monitor on ATI Radeon X300/X550/1050 Series
2. (Default Monitor) on ATI Radeon X300/X550/1050 Series Secondary

I wouldn't have thought this was abnormal but have noticed that my computer
has a ATI Radeon X600SE. This may just be me looking for a solution but I
downloaded and installed the driver for the Radeon X600 series and it is
still the same.

I would appreciate any tips or advice.
Thanks in advance.
