When I replace the CMOS battery in my Dell desktop will my XP(MCE)
recover its settings on its own or will I have to provide all those
settings myself?
There is a DOS program (CMOSRAM2) that copies and restores all those
settings automatically for Win98. Is there such a program for XP?
Thanks

I can not watch any videos on either "Yahoo music videos" or "MSN videos".
The video screen turns green, but can hear the audio. What is wrong and how
do I fix it. Running XP Home Edition on a 05'Sony VAIO RB30. Help would be
greatly appreciated.

I have a shortcut to Google in IE6. When I double click on it, a new
window opens with the start page of google. The problem is that the window
is not active and I have to click on it first to use it. I would like for
the Google home page to load and for the cursor to be waiting for input
without having to click on the new window.
Does anyone know how to make the new window start up as active?
Thank You
Kevin

That will be called SP3, and it will be followed by another set of updates
to install...

I think that's it, Raj. I believe that I recently
ran a 'clear list of recently-run programs', and that
may have cleared my 'run' list as well. I'll keep an
eye out for it, and if I see it again, I'll do a
before-and-after on the Run list. Thank you.

Or, click Start then Run and type this command:

Jerry, I followed your instructions and found all the right places but the
Temp folder just isn't there. Looked in system varibles and theyy are both
there but their is no folder. Do I just make a new folder and name it 'Temp".
Doesn't sound like that would work. But what do I know? Thanks James

I like cmd and msconfig and a few other
choices selectable there. Today, without me doing
anything exceptional, they're gone. I can put 'em
back, but I'm curious as to what I did to clear
them. Any clues?
