How do you respond to an answer?

Author: Annabelle & Don McGuckin
Date: May 4, 2008 08:53

I posted a question using msnews.microsoft.com. I received an answer to
which I would like to reply. However, when I prepare my message by clicking
Reply in Outlook Express and try to send it, my email is rejected because
the email address is incorrect (obviously the person who responded has their
proper email address protected for privacy). So how do you respond?

Visual Basic 6 - DAO350.dll failed to register error

Author: murphyai
Date: Apr 30, 2008 07:00

I've installed visual basic 6 as a domain admin on a windows xp sp2 system.
The program opens fine when i (domain administrator) open the program.
However, "DAO350.dll failed to register error" occurs whenever any other
user logs in.
I've located the dll and given it access to everyone with full control,
but this hasn't fixed the problem.
i've also tried to un-register and re-register the dll but that fails as the
user.
is there a proble with permissions of a key in the registry due to the fact
i installed as a higher permission account?
if so. how do i fix this please?

System folder opens during startup & Hard disk access denied

Author: A Ng
Date: Apr 30, 2008 02:24

1. System folder opens during startup
How to resolve the problem? Does using the PC on point software helps?

2. Hard disk access denied
(XP Home edition) Both C: and D: could nit be accessed via My Computer.
However, it can be accessed through the icons after expanding in the folders
tab.
Tried changing sharing permissions, but the option does not exist.
Is there is a difference between "Administrator" that is only accessable in
Safe Mode, and other profiles with full rights?

Do I delete Partition1 [NTFS] to re-install windows xp professiona

Author: John

I used the cd set to recover stuff, now the system continues to work slow and
not work with software it use to work with. So now I feel that the only way
to get this computer working is to re-install the system software. In doing
so I have come to a window that lists the existing partitions on C:. It asks
if I want to delete partition, install windows xp (if you select that it says
that you cannot have two operating systems on the same partition, so I did
not do that) or quit. Do I delete the Partition1 [ntfs] 38146 MB ,21953 mb
free>? and what do I do with the unpartitioned space 8 mb?
