There are some application / drivers that are designed specifically to run
on Windows NTe and Windows XPe respectively. For example we have different
drivers for a device in windows NT and windows XP, this can be same with
application too !

I would like to know the probable modification / changes that could have
been made on the Windows NTe application / driver to make it compatible for
windows XPe.

Hi. I build a component in NTEmbedded.
The CPU uses a board of IEI PCISA-C400R.
I made a component, and the installation finished graphic of VIA VT8601 with
Wirth normally.

NT start is on the way, and a CPU is really reset when I operate it.
（It is reset in the place that the reset place displays a blue screen, and
is replaced by VGA.）

I think that a problem occurs with a component about the screen, but do not
understand what it is reset for.

I asked a NTEmbedde vendor, the CPU maker a question, but it was said that
knowledge that I related to it of NTEmbedded was not made not be it.

Please teach the person that it was made a driver of VIA VT8601 a component
or matters that require attention.

I have an application developed in Windows NT Embedded using Visual Studio
6.0. The application is developed in Visual C.

Now the same application needs to be ported to Windows XP Embedded.

Please let me know if I need to make any changes in the code ? How to
identify that a call in windows NT needs to be modiifed for similar result in
windows XP ?

I have a system that have WINNT Emb Class 2 installed the equipment was
running on bateries when it became depleted
when I connect the equipment again it doesn boot again and say that there
are a missing file

"windows nt could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt;"
"\WinNT\system32\config\systemHardware profile/Last Known Good menu"
"you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows NT"
"Setup using the original Setuo floppy disk or CD-ROM"
"Select 'r" at the first screen to start repair"

note: maybe the file that is missing is only the part
\WinNT\system32\config\system because the part that talks abbout use the
last "known hardward profile......." could came from an anterior screen that
desn't errase

as you can immagine I do not have the setup disk and
the sistem is not in a HD is mounted on a Compact Flash memory
and I need repair this unit , how could I do this?

Terminal Server Edition; since Microsoft does not deliver it saying that
the product already is out of support.
