I cannot seem to be able to use the 'effects' in windows movie maker. it
keeps saying that "windows moviemaker has stopped working -- trying to solve
the problem" then "windows moviemaker is restarting" , and still could not
use the 'effects'.

Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to fix this problem? Please
someone help!!!

On Windows Vista Premium: I hate to be so ignorant, but I can't seem to
import any files into my movie maker. I have a DVD and a Video-CD that I
created on another computer (XP). I go to the import files page, click on
computer which brings up the disc drive D, click on it and then .. nothing.
Every thing I've read says simple stuff like "drag and drop" etc. I've made
several movies on XP with no problem. What gives? Is there a "Vista MM for
Dummies somewhere?

when trying to save to cd i get an unknown error message. is this the same
message you're receving? If so how did you resolve it

When I insert a transition the preview window goes blank and I cannot play
the movie. If I then delete the transition the preview window starts again
and I can play the movie. Is there a solution?
