My computer is not loaded with heavy duty stuff and to
this the Win386.swp file has been around 100MB.
It is gradually increasing for about last two months and
average around 250MB.
The total contents of my C: drive/partition are only
3.25GB. and D: partition's are 17.8GB backup store.
The total capacity of the HD is 36.1 GB.
256 MB Extended memory.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the page file size?

my avg virus updates were set to up date automatic but it chnages it setting
and won't let me set it back to to automatic any know why or how to fix it

It keeps giving me same updates over and over again, including "main"
update to the program. Anyone else having the same problem?

I've uninstalled it for now.

Hi,
I recently reinstalled ME. I went to updates and it started out fine. After
the IE6 update now it searches for updates, I select to install updates and
it acts like it si going to update. It freezes and doesn't down load.

  Reformatting wih 98se

Hi, Im tring to get info on reformatting my hard drive. I have an old Compaq
Presario 5000t. It has a full version of 98 se and a upgrade version of XP
pro on top. My ex was bad on the comp, had a habbit of deleteing things. So,
it has 2 versions of both on it. And only has a 10gb hard drive in it. I need
to clear the drive and reinstall. Mainly because all the updates have taken
all the space. Please help.

hello all,can anybody tell me where to get a start up disc for ME.I have the
CD key but have lost the disc etc.Its on my old HP and seems a shame not to
