Re: mount storage card as root?

You need to have enough drivers loaded - the storage card driver in this
case - before the store can be mounted. That means you will needs a store
elsewhere that holds enough of the OS to be able to read the storage card,
then from that point everything else could be on the card.

Read about the Boot Hive in the help docs to figure out how to go about
doing htat.

Re: problem of eboot to download nk.bin

As it it always the same block I would suspect the memory is being
ovewritten by something else.

For instance the bin record is being downloaded into an area in use by
eboot, maybe the stack region. Have a look to see if any memory region
overlaps between eboot.bib and config.bib

  incoming/outgoing call recording

Author: Dmitry
Date: Sep 23, 2008 00:44

Hi,

there is a possibility to record voice calls (incoming & outgoing) on
CE;

Could someone point me how to do that and what API must be used ?

I tried to use TAPI before, lineGetID() with devices "wave/in" / "wave/
out" returns LINEERR_OPERATIONFAILED;

Does anybody have an idea how can i get the id of wave device during a
call ?

Or some quite different approach must be used in case of voice call
recording ?

Best regards,
Dmitry

  KITL benable in standalone image

Author: zix
Date: Sep 22, 2008 04:00

Hi,
we are loading the nk.bin(kernel+application) image in the sd
card. So, we are disabling the KITL option. We are finding a lot
improvement in the ethernet image(which has kitl enabled). We are
finding that if we disable KITL, even the ethernet becomes as slow as
sdcard image. So, we believe that if we enable KITL in sdcard image,
the performance will be improved. Can it be done?

thanx,
zix

  ce6.0 register active problem

Author: huodian
Date: Sep 19, 2008 02:07

Hi All,

I added a new device driver to nk.bin. and I can find it under HKLM/
driver/BuildIn/*** keys but I didn't see this under the HKLM/driver/
active/xxx key by using the remote Registry editor.
Does this mean my driver is not loaded and is non functional?
I tried to write an app to test this, and I failed!

Appreciate any help.

Huodian
