Formating hard drive error during the install process

Hi,

I have a 250 GB hard drive and during the install process i partion the
drive to the full 250 GB and choose to do the full format but at the end of
the format i get an error message that reads that SBS was unable to complete
the format and also say it may be a hardware error. I have tested the hard
drive with Seagate testing software and it said it was ok..

Anyone know whats going on?

Thanks for the info.

I have an SBS 2003 already running. I want to do a new install but obviously
cant go off line for the length of time it will take to do so i got a new
hard drive and im going to do the fresh install on this new drive and when
its working I will change all my users over.

I don't mirror the operating system but i do have a RAID 1 for the data
drive i have.
