urgent help!!

Hi all..
I need some urgent help....

I have a little network and I can't connect to it..

The network is set up as following:

DSL router -> hp managed switch -> computers

I can ping to the router, which is connected directly to the wall.
The router then has a lead going directly into the switch which is
where everything dies.
I can't ping the switch, nor the server.
I tried shutting everything down, turning on the router, on the
switch, and on the server.
I'm still waiting for that process as I'm doing it with a few minutes
in between each.

IS there anything else anyone can think of?
I've tried different cables.. I'm a bit stuck! :S

Have you tried resetting the switch to factory defaults? Or do you have
a lot of configuration on it? How much of the management are you using?

Well...then I would probably carefully review the settings on the switch
and see if any of them are clearly amiss. Does it have the facility to
save a backup of the configuration? Have you checked to make sure it
has the most recent firmware?

When did this setup stop working?
