  Hang in SetEndOfFile

Author: Gil
Date: Sep 17, 2008 05:35

Hi all,

My application hangs many times in a strange call stack as reported by
DebugDiag output, seems like in writing-to-console. This is the call stack
reported by DebugDiag.exe:

ntdll!KiFastSystemCallRet
kernel32!SetEndOfFile+126
kernel32!WriteConsoleA+18
kernel32!WriteConsoleA+2c
msvcrt!wsopen+169
msvcrt!write+57
msvcirt!filebuf::sync+3b
msvcirt!ostream::flush+2d
msvcirt!endl+15
NetworkAPI_RPro!CHLA_Extensions_RPro::Tick+4c

The lowest line is my code, which looks like this:

cout<<" ################ "<
Can anyone help? What can make my application hang in writing to console?

  (DXSDK) Draw Predicated Sample

Author: Tsarevich

With "uses the occlusion predicate query to avoid drawing unnecessary
geometry" i have 10-14%% lower FPS than clear rendering without this
unnecessary feauture. OMG.
My configuration is 8600GT, Athlon64 3500+, DX10, Augist'08 SDK.

"removes the vertex processing cost by using the
D3D10_QUERY_OCCLUSION_PREDICATE query type in Direct3D 10"
To me it is terrible!

  DirectX SDK (August 2008)

Author: Sid Price

I have an application that uses DirectSound; it is a live-stage automation
and control system for music and sound effects. Looking to the future I have
begun to think about the next major revision of our system software and
therefore I downloaded the DirectX SDK (August 2008). I read in the
documentation that DirectSound is a deprecated technology and that
developers of pro-audio should use "Windows Core Audio". My question is,
what is this "core audio" and where is it documented? Searching the SDK
documentation does not really reveal any further information.
I would appreciate any pointers and help in understanding the direction I
should go with the future development of my application. I should mention
that control and replay of video is a potential requirement of this system

  Help! Running error of AddRef and QueryInterface in debug.

Author: Alex
Date: Aug 4, 2008 02:44

I write a filter as a C++ class, CMyTransform. Then I create an object of
CMytransform m_pMytransform and add it to the filter graph. It goes well in
release mode, but when changed to debug mode there comes an error. I have no
idea about that.
I use the Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK and VS2005. The code is as follows:
m_pMyTransform = new CMyTransform(NULL, &hr);
m_pMyTransform->AddRef();
IBaseFilter* pFilter = NULL;
m_pMyTransform->QueryInterface(IID_IBaseFilter, (void**)&pFilter);
m_pGraph->AddFilter(pFilter, L"MY transform");
pFilter->Release();
when running the m_pMyTransform->AddRef() or m_pMyTransform->QueryInterface,
it breaks with an error:
Data Abort: Thread=81d29640 Proc=802c8fa0 'VideoCap_PPC_V1.0.exe'
AKY=00100001 PC=00013b58(VideoCap_PPC_V1.0.exe+0x00003b58)

  ACREDITE FUNCIONA!!!!!

Author: JET72

Ganhar dinheiro rápido e honesto

meu blog http://jet72.zip.net/
