Senior Data warehouse / OLAP Developer - MDX queries, T-SQL, SSAS, SSIS

The Data Warehouse is a Terabyte in size and is composed of Support
Site data, surveys, and various other customer data built on SQL
2005. They use SSAS to generate reports from the DW, Excel pivot
tables and SSRS. They don’t have anyone creating great reports, so
just using SSRS.

They have a separate metadata ETL framework with data being brought in
using SSIS, which has a set of properties defined in SQL tables
(Attributes, objects, etc.).

Responsibilities and examples of what we would want the candidate to
have done in the past, at a minimum, would be:

* Consolidate the dimensions & measure groups from two SSAS databases
into a single SSAS database

* Deliver framework for using XMLA to add/alter existing SSAS objects
without the need for re-processing dimensions and partitions.
Instruct other developers on the use of the above framework.

* Use MDX to script calculated measures.

* Set parameters in the mdmsrv.ini file to optimize dimension/
partition processing and query performance.

* Implement usage-based aggregations in production cubes.
