Go to Control Panel->Programs & Features. Choose Microsoft SQL Server 2008
from the list and click Uninstall\Change button.
A window pops up, click "Remove" link button on it. After skipping Setup
Support Files process, "Remove SQL Server 2008 window" appears. If you just
want to remove some shared components (such as SSMS, SDK etc.) choose
<> item from the "Instance to remove features
from" drop down box (this option is in the "Select Instance" pane in the
"Remove SQL Server 2008" window). Or, if you want to remove some features of
a SQL Server instance or you want to remove it completely, select its name
from the same drop down list.
Then you'll be redirected to "Select Features" pane. Choose the features
from the list to remove them. And go on...
