I've got an email today from TechNet Flash, here's a quote from it:
The wait is over. SQL Server 2008 has been released and is ready to deliver
a rich set of integrated services that enable you to do more with your data,
such as query, search, synchronize, report, and analyze. Many of you have
been evaluating the SQL Server 2008 betas, and may be ready to try out the
RTM version. (
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9333553 ) TechNet Plus
subscribers can find (
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9333554) RTM versions
now available for download. Speaking of TechNet Plus, read Keith Combs'
Blahg (
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9333555) for his take on the UI
improvements for the newly revamped TechNet Plus Subscriber Downloads page.
It seems that Express Edition (RTM) has not been released yet. I found only
one edition which must be the Evaluation Edition (RTM).
