Login Prompt when opening an InfoPath Form on a Sharepoint site?

Author: Michael Stum

Hello,

I am running into a strange issue here. I've got a Sharepoint 2007
Server, Standard without Forms Services. There is a Document Libary that
contains InfoPath forms. Authentication is handled through NTLM.

People can access the Sharepoint site, and some People can access the
form. However, some (not all) people get a Login Prompt within InfoPath,
asking them for their credentials to access /_vti_bin/Lists.asmx. It
does not accept their credentials (Windows Login) though.

The Form loads data from a Sharepoint List through a data connection,
and on Sharepoint site, the permissions look good, as people are able to
access all libraries in question.

Does anyone recognize that problem or can give me a hint how to
troubleshoot that issue? The issue does not happen for me, making
debugging a lot harder obviously.

Many Thanks!
