We have created an enterprise custom field called RFC Number that is a
generated
number for audit purposes. The user goes to the intranet and generates
the
number which updates the task via PSI. However, in testing this, we get
the
following behavior:

Intranet Projects 2008 - made sure it was saved and published. Left
project
plan OPEN
Went to Intranet and generated RFC number for a task. 81301 (Adds RFC
Number to PWA_PUBLISHED)
Closed and reopened MS Project and no RFC number on MS Project
Proj Center - shows 81301
Res Center - shows 81301
My Tasks - shows 81301
My timesheet - shows 81301

How does one save the window layout of Project Pro 2007 on closing, such
as column width and location, so that it returns as it was left? It
worked by default in Project Pro 2003. I was connected to a Project
Server in both cases, 2003 before and 2007 now.

I have:

Project Pro 2007
Sharepoint Server 2007
Project Server 2007 integrated with Sharepoint Server 2007.

I have such a problem:

When I create a project from Project Pro 2007 and publish it to the
server with for example name "IT", I can see that project from Project
Center and I can that project details (I mean Task name, duration,
start, chart), but I can't see the same for example task names, start
and finish dates in the "Project Web Access > IT", I mean when I access
the page that was created for the project IT, I can't see here any of
the information, I just can add new Tasks and so on. How can I update
this page from Project Pro 2007, like it updates the information shown
in Project Center ?

I think you could understand what I'm asking for.

Here is my problem:

I can't connect Project Professional 2003 and Project 2003 Server,
because my system encoding is 1250 and project server is 1252.
How to fix this?

the same name.

How can i cancell this backup option?
