In OutLook Contact after Web page address there is place to specify IM
Address. What is IM address and how is it used? Thanks.

That field is just for information on what IM service of that person. I put
in whatever they use, which is often a Yahoo or Skype username, if not
Windows Live Messenger. The Windows Live Messenger status integration only
seems to work on the main email address field, anyway, which is a pity.

I know what the letters IM refer to (Instant Messenger). My question(s):
"What is the IM address, i.e. is it the person's email address or what? If
it's not the person's email address, then how do I get it? Would I need to
contact each individual and ask for it? Can I assume the person would know
what it is?"
Also can you tell me the purpose of the "Notify me of replies" checkbox
below. I check it but do not get notified when a reply occurs.
Thanks.
