Outlook 2003: Auto Expanding Folders

Hello all.
Is there a way to *stop* Outlook from expanding the folder tree when new
mail is received. My Start-Up folder is 'Unread Mail'.
When the folders expand, it's a long list making it a nuisance to scroll
down the list to view my webmail accounts.

Specs:

Windows 2000 SP4
Outlook 2003 SP 3

TIA

No. AFAIk, there is no way to stop the expansion. Some updates change the
behavior, but there isn't a way for the user to control it.

I was afraid of that. I was hoping there was a reg-hack to fix that...
Guess I'll deal with it.

Thanks.
