i have 1gb of ram (1046 mb of physical mem, 416mb available.)
.pst is 120mb
sure there are other programs running, but not many: outlook, linkstash,
clipcache, kaspersky, magicjack, winpatrol, file manager. thats about it.

somehow, i feel that outlook not even attempting to search (as it does when
the correct entries Do appear) is a clue. somehow, it thinks that it already
has the necessary info, and doesn't need to look for it.

does this mean that i am the first to have this problem? i feel special.
