HOL is just a simple list of holidays so you can't do any type of 'conversion' on it. did you try clicking on the HOL file to see if it works as you want? Nothing will do it 'silently' - the user will need to interact with the dialog....4752-ABC5-86029EAEF8E4@microsoft.com... I want to have users select (click) a file from an intranet page and have it automatically add .hol daily events to their calendar. Any thoughts on where I should start? TIA Graham

If you run Outlook with the /hol switch, it will start up with a dialog box which the user can select the countries/categories they wish to add holidays for..... We are updating the outlook holidays to go from 2008-2012. I can use SMS to install/update the outlook.hol file on machines. Question, is there a way to automatically import the holidays into each users Outlook account?

I work in a corporate environment with over 7,000 Outlook 2003 accounts. We are updating the outlook holidays to go from 2008-2012. I can use SMS to install/update the outlook.hol file on machines. Question, is there a way to automatically import the holidays into each users Outlook account?
