The Office Manager has been dealing with the server tech people up until
now, and although she is fairly computer literate, she has not had much
cooperation from them up to now. The Office of this nonprofit corp. isn't
open until Wed., but I will probably have to contact them myself at that
time. Their initial response given to her has been that we are trying to
send too many BCC's, but if that is the case, why does Outlook Express work?

I have removed all spam filtering for the email account, and I know that has
been effective since the organization gets tons of spam. Our only spam
filtering being done is by software in the Office computer, but as I
understand it, that only works on incoming messages, and it has been very
effective thus far. I can't remember its name, but it is the type of
software that learns in time as you put spam email into the junk folder. It
also has a suspect folder where one can remove those that don't belong
there.

I have not tried sending any email with BCC's from the web-based email site
which the organization has. As I understand it, the email that is sent from
our computer is handled by a different server than the one on which our web
site is based. I do not have any access to the server handling the outgoing
email. The web-based site does handle the incoming email and that can be
viewed by a remote mail feature.

I'm doing all of this posting from my home with the idea of getting enough
info to again attack the problem on Wed. I'm not all that knowledgeable
about all of the systems involved, but I should mention that I am doing this
pro bono.

Thanks for your response.
