Hi, I'm trying to create a mail merge in Word 2003 but would like to explore
the option of using an Outlook form to replace the standard email template so
I can specify the "from" address in the merged email. Is this possible, or
will Word always look for the standard email template? Thanks!

I have made some changes to the contact card template in Outlook, and I want
to save it and either make it the default or make it an option when I upload
new contacts into outlook. This is a dance studio contact database, and we
are switching to Outlook, and I am trying to avoid creating the entire
database from scrath. Or, importing them as is, then changing/editing every
single contact card through 'design form'.
Anyone get what I am trying to do and have an answer for me? Thanks!

I have a VB program that controls Outlook programatically. The program uses
a class (olwrapper) which in turn uses Outlook to send an email. A snippit
of olwrapper follows:
Dim objoutlook As Outlook.Application
Dim objoutlookmsg As MailItem
Dim objinsp as outlook.inspector
Dim mydoc as word.document
Set objoutlook = New Outlook.Application
Set objoutlookmsg = objoutlook.CreateItem(olMailItem)
Set objinsp = objoutlookmsg.GetInspector
If objinsp.IsWordMail = True Then
If objinsp.EditorType = olEditorWord Then
objinsp.Activate 'this was added for outlook
2007
set mydoc = objinsp.wordeditor
mydoc.range.paste 'inserts info from clipboard
end if
end if

Sue/Randy/Ken I've got all of your books but this has fallen between the
cracks ;-) (Or I've missed it).
Can anyone give me the 'best way' (or even a way that works) to search
through an 'additional' mailbox inbox and include subfolders. (note: I have
to assume that desktop search may not be installed., although all clients
will be OL2007)
Initially I was hoping to access the 'additional' mailboxes 'Search folders'
but they seem impossible to access from the primary mailbox.

I am in a legal dispute with a con man who is stating that he sent me an
email changing the terms of our contract. He turned in an email to the
arbitrator (altered) that said he sent it to me in Jan 20 2007 changing our
contract terms. This never happened I would never have accepted it. The
arbitrator ruled that he must prove he sent it and I received it. Three
months later he comes in with a read receipt saying I opened it 15 hours
later. Both of these were printed out and no one has seen the actual emails
he is stating he has. I have requested a subpoena to look at his computer to
see these. His ISP is Comcast and he uses outlook. He stated in his reply
that Comcast sent him a read receipt showing I opened this email.
How can I prove these were never sent or the read receipt was sent????
