Outlook 2007 contact restore problem

I am using office 2007 enterprise edition. Recently I got a problem on import
and exprot contact to access.
First, I export all contact in my outlook to an access file by "File" ->
"Import and Exprot" and got no problem.
Then I clear all the contact in my outlook and restore these item from the
backup file that i have exported. I found all contact email information is
missing. Then I open the access file, I can see these information there. So
why it doesn't restore correctly? I want msft's answer.
Please help me soon.

This is most certainly a good way to lose or corrupt your Contact data, as
you have demonstrated.
Without detailed steps of what you did, no one can tell you what you did
wrong.
This is an end user newsgroup. You will not get answers from Microsoft here.
Contact PSS if you want that.

Thank you for your reply. My export step is "File"->"Import and
Export"->"Export to a file"->"Microsoft Access 97-2003"->select
"contacts"->"XXX.mdb"->"Finish"

Import Step is:"File"->"Import and Export"->"Import from another program or
file"->"Microsoft Access 97-2003"->"xxx.mdb"(the exported mdb file)->select
"contacts"->"Finish"
I have done this step on Outlook 2007 profession(Chinese edition) and it all
right.
But the same step got this problem on Outlook 2007 enterprise(English
edition).

The Outlook 2007 I have mentioned is a component in Offiec 2007
I have fully installed the Office software.

Further more, I installed profession(Chinese edition) on Windows XP(Chinese
edition). And after I reinstall the Windows XP(Change to English edition) I
installed office enterprise(English edtion) and got the problem.

Thank you! Wait for your reply.

I export the contact just want to backup it. So after I reinstalled the OS I
can import it and got back my contacts' information without input each of
them again.
Thank you!

steps are exacly the same ? Is there any solution ?

Have you named the range in Excel? If you don't know how to do that, save as
a CSV file and import that.

BTW, what in heaven's name made you export to Excel as a backup? Did you not
do any research first?
