If you're certain that the HP is capable of integrating with the Outlook
Address Book, have you made certain that Outlook is your default mail
program and that you have configured the Outlook Address Book correctly?

Because they're different versions. Outlook 2003 made some minor changes to allow the address book display to be resized, among other things.

It should be in the Help within HP Director that came with your HP Image
Zone software.

Hi DHUN,

You mean save email address of replied emails to contacts...

This feature is present only in Outlook 2000. If you wish this feature in
Outlook 2002 or 2003 you must use add-ins. An example of an add-in for this
is Bells & Whistles for Outlook. You can find it at this link:

Eye Say, and Lord Gnome Answers

My interactions with Private Eye started in May 1995, shortly after I'd started bleating on usenet. I tried to get the Eye
interested in my case, as I thought they more than anyone have their finger on the pulse, and would surely already know
something about my case. In my first email to them, entitled "pas de bouteille?" (wot no bottle?), I asked if they had the
nerve to publish what was known to many thousands of people. Their email flunky answered;

Bottle? Dunno really - but I've passed your mail on to the Ed for his
consideration.

Re: Cannot edit a contact's email address

And it always will be, because it's not a simple text field like a person's name. The email "field" is actually 3 separate properties -- the display name, the address, and the type of email address. You'll need to open the contact record to edit it.

I exported all Contacts to a spreadsheet and reviewed the data for anomalies
- nothing sticks out. Any other thoughts?

If I had other ideas I would have posted them long ago. Let us know what you
find out.

Never export to or import from a PST. There's no need and you lose data.
Other problems can occur as well, including the corruption of the mail
profile. Just open the PST in Outlook with FIle>open>Outlook Data File.
