Please provide complete and relevant information. There is none here. "Group
list" means nothing to us. Define your unique term. Provide your mail
account type, information store, the reasons you can't send to the list,
what happens when you try, and the precise error message.

I'm referring to "distribution lists". I'm using Microsoft Office 2007
(12.0.6316.5000) SP ! MSO (12.0.6213.1000) and Windows XP. These lists were
created in my local "contacts" folder (not shared) a long time ago, and
worked until yesterday. My mail server is POP/SMTP. Any time a try to send a
message to a distribution list, I get "an unexpected error has occurred"
error message, and cannot send the message. What is "information store" that
you requested?

I can figure out the information store from the rest of the information: it
is a local data file (PST file). Unfortunately DL's stored in a PST file are
notoriously unreliable and frequently become corrupt. You can try repairing
your data file using the Inbox Repair Tool, but most of the time you'll need
to recreate your DL from scratch.
