What type of email account did you set up for this profile? Also, look at
things you may be doing to these messages that would affect the message as
it is being sent such as:
1. Adding a signature that cannot be rendered
2. Using virus scanning on email.
3. Setting a rule for outgoing messages.

My e-mail account is a POP/SMTP - is that what you mean?
I have not added a signature or a rule for any messages.
I have disabled virus scanning for outgoing e-mails.

Russ,
Please excuse the ignorance, but how do I do this.? I dont understand the
"user" thing at all. I bought a new computer a few weeks ago, and it is all
so different from the old one.

Still not finding any similar reports. What makes you think this has
anything to do with a DL?

Because it only happens when I send mail to this one particular distribution
list.

Not sure this is even Outlook doing it. Logon as a different user and see if
the same thing happens.

Too hard to explain if you're not familiar with different Outlook profiles
or Windows user logons. We might be able to tell something from this: What
exactly do you mean by "Sent items looks fine on one, but not good on the
other?" Are you seeing two different messages sent each time? What doesn't
look good?

When I view the sent items folder it is fine.
However the contacts in the DL are receiving two emails. One is fine,
attachments & messages are perfect, and show as coming from me, followed by
my email address.
The other shows no attachments, and the reading pane is full of garble. This
shows as coming from my email address only.
When I first set up the computer, I did have two Users, however as I didnt
know what I was doing, and things got messy, I deleted the 2nd user & just
use the one.
I know I am being a pain, but I really am appreciating your assistance.

PS: I usually also get some sort of error message as well, while it is sending.
