delete duff Personal Folder

Used Windows Easy Transfer (I now know it doesn't sync right with Outlook
2007 - ridiculous, had I known...) to move data from old laptop (that had
Outlook 2003). Went through rigmarole of having to add new profile to get
contacts and address book to sync (thanks for advice via the group Brian and
Vince). Problem now is I have 2 Personal Folders trees! First and main one is
the duff one that doesn't sync or allow one to. 2nd is ok. Can I delete the
duff one?

To what view are you referring?
When you created the new profile, how did you migrate your data to it?

Thanks for reply Russ. I migrated the data by clicking Open, File, Data file,
then selected the Outlook file. Then I think I simply opened it (I have to
admit the whole processs seemedsomewhat haphazard) and it created a new
personal folder in Outook.
With regard to your question regarding views, when I look at the folder list
on the left hand side I see all folders (Calendar, Inbox, tasks etc.) but 2
personal folders. What next?

The next thing to do is to make your old folder (the one you opened) your
default for the profile and restart Outlook. Then you can R click and close
the other Personal Folders file (which should be empty).
