I did Milly's "Alt+K" and is seemed to work and just did your "Ctrl+K" and
it solved the Jason autofill issue. Yahoo! It also put Jason in the address
book I may post a video on how I solved these issues.

P.S. I still wish Outlook didn't insert all emails in the To: field when I
click email under the communicate section of the ribbon is that just the way
it is or is there a fix so I select which email I want to send to?

No it didn't. Outlook doesn't have an Address Book. The "Outook ADdress
Book is mere;y a view of your Contacts folders.

Ok so if there is no address book and its just a view of contacts how come
the address book doesn't have contacts in there that are in contacts and on
autofill?

Because the address book only lists the electronic addresses in the Contacts
Folder and has nothing whatsoever to do with the autocompletion cache.

Thanks Russ that explains what I'm seeing but doesn't. I have contacts that
are not in the address book view but are emailable so-to-speak via autofill
and from the full contact view. My frustration is that I can't add certain
emails/contacts to a distribution list.

The second problem is easily explained only if you provide more
troubleshooting information. If a Contact that is in your Contact folder
does not appear in the address book view it simply means that Contact does
not have a resolved electronic address or resides in a Contacts Folder other
than the one you are displaying in the address book view.

I'm getting what your saying about the address book view with relation to
the contacts but when I look at the email of one of the contacts in question
I can't see any reason the electronic address would NOT be resolved. I don't
have any other folders but one "Personal Folders" for all contacts so as best
I can tell there is no reason why "M. Lami" wouldn't be in the address book
view with most other contacts. It's perplexing to me.

If you have time to view the video of me trying to access certain emails
from the address book view that would give you all the information you need
to assist me further.

Why is your "Address Book" field set to "Outlook Address Book" when you open
or search the Outlook Address Book? You never use that setting. You must set
that field to the Contacts Folder you want to display. If you were
configured correctly, the Outlook Address Book display should be completely
empty. It is merely the shell for your Contact Folders. There is far more to
your story than you have told. You are using the Outlook Address Book
interface for far more than it was intended. All Contact data manipulation
and all searching should be done in Contacts Folders, not the address book
view.

I haven't customized anything with regard to the outlook address book. So
if its wrong that's the way it was installed unwittingly. How do I fix it,
google provides no help nor do the key words I'm using for the forum provide
steps after Jan 2007. I know the duplicate posts are annoying but I created
