A post in the Smartermail forum yielded an answer. As it turn out, Outlook
has a pointer for the displayed contact on the To line. If the sharepoint
folder is updated while the person is creating the email (a possibility for
us with the shared folder) the pointer no longer matches the original
contact. When he hits Send, the pointer lands on a different contact and uses
that SMTP address.
Has anyone seen this? Is there a way to address this? Might this happen with
the real sharepoint, MS Sharepoint Services 3.0?
Thanks,
Paul
