activites linked to contacts

This may be more suggestion than question.

It would be very nice if I was on a contact and could click the "new note
button", "new appointment button", "new to do button" , etc. to create an
item that was already linked to the contact I had open. Kinda of the way I
can click a new message button from the contact and the email editor opens
with to the to: box already filled out and went sent the mail is
automatically linked to the contact and added to his activites page.

Is there any way to achieve this with standard OL2007?

Actions, Create... or right click on a contact and choose Create...

Might also want to go to tools, options, contact options and enable Show
linking. This puts the Contacts field on the forms so you can either select
or type in a contact's name and link them easily.
