Hi Diane,

I've been waiting for at least three hours for a reply and nothing has
happened. I can see the invitation in the invox for the boardroom.

If you configured the resource by opening it into your own
profile, then you have configured your own profile to
auto-accept, not the resource. You need to open the
resource account into its own profile and then make the changes
to the configuration.

The following articles explain in detail how to configure the resource
and how to book it correctly.
