my Outlook alams don't work

My alarms in my Outlook calander no-longer notify me by sound or visually.
This a recent problem, only this week 14/04/2008 has it happened. I've
looked in all the usual areas and all the correct boxes and selected, but no
reminders.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks,

Simon

Outlook version, please? Are the reminders in the default calendar? Are your sounds turned on? Have you checked the sound selection in Control Panel to ensure it works? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office Sounds?

Thanks Milly...

Outlook version 2003; Yes the reminders are in the default calender; sounds
are on; I have now set the sounds to 'Windows Degfault'; I don't know how to
uninstall and reinstall Office Sounds.

Actually, I received all my reminder from the last two days about an hour
ago. I thought that I might not have been in the correct time zone, but that
checked out OK. SO it's not just the sound that have been causing problems
but the actual reminder too!

Thanks again Milly

This is a safe switch to use - cleanreminders cleans the hidden reminder
folder and outlook will generate a new folder and regenerate the reminders.
You won't lose anything or risk the calendar.
