meeting requests received as an email

Author: Dabbler

Intermittently our staff are receiving meeting requests as text emails
instead of a request prompting approval to add to their calendars.

Note we are not using Exchange Server, the messages are mailed through a
hosted email service POP3 provided with the web hosting service.

Thanks for any suggestions on how to remedy this.

This happens when the TNEF encoding is damaged. Choosing the option to send
meeting requests as icalendars might help (assuming they come from coworkers
using outlook 2007). Tools, options, calendar options.
