7 day old events being deleted

We just changed from outlook 2003 to 2007 and now if a non recurring event is
more than seven day's old and I've dismissed it, it is deleted. I can even
create an old one and wait about 30 seconds and watch it disappear to my
waste basket. How do I stop this?

Do you have autoarchive enabled on the Calendar folder?

Or... did management enable managed folders or mailbox manager on the
server.

Yes, here are the settings (via, right click on calendar, properties,
AutoArchive tab)
Button on -- Archive items in this folder using the default setting
Hit Default ARchive Settings... button and see

Check on -- Run every 14 days
Check on -- Prompt before Autoarchive runs
Check off -- Delete expired items (e-mail folders only)
Check on - Archive or delete old items
Check on - Show archive folder in folder list
Clean out items older than 6 months
Button on -- move old items to: with the path to my archive.pst file

I just added some more events to last Tuesday (15 Jul) and without any
prompting they were deleted and didn't show up in my archive.pst file.

How would I check this? This is quite possible we have a 90M limit on our
system and people tend to forget their calendar apointments can have
attachments. Management might be "helping" us.

You'll need to ask the admin.
