Tool" on a server and we can't connect to this database with Outlook 2007
with BCM.

Some details:

SQL instance MSSMLBIZ, TCP/IP enabled, no firewall, on the same LAN than
client computers.

Client: Windows XP SP3, Outlook 2007 (connected to an Exchange Server 2003
in cache mode), BCM 2007 SP1.

Hello,

Have you tried typing the netbios name of your SQL server instead of
BCM\MSSMLBIZ ?

The DataBaseTool is working in english version only.

is it the same version for the client ?

is your database populated ?

sorry for my bad english

Hi again,

Now I can access the shared database with my login but not the other users.
I can't use the Database Tool to share the database because the tool does
not "see" it. Is there a way to give users access rights with SQL Studio ?

Thanks.
