PROBLEMS WITH BCM AND SQL SERVER - PLEASE HELP

A problem with BCM started to occur on my computer recently. When starting
outlook I received an error message “BCM for Outlook could not connect to the
shared database. Do you want to work offline?”
I tried to uninstall and repair BCM with Disk 2 but now it fails to install
and gives the following error message “Setup failed to install Business
Contact Manager for Outlook 2007. See C:\Documents and
settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\MBSetuptmpA3.log for more detail.”
I have worked through the help at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP011128601033.aspx and appear to
have a problem with the SQL server

When Trying To Start Sql server (Mssmlbiz) Through Computer Management I get
the following error:
“Windows could not start the SQL Server (MSSMLBIZ) on Local Computer. For
more information, review the...

I have exactly the same problem.
After installing XP SP3 yesterday the SQL server service for BCM 2007
will no longer start.
Tried to do a repair BCM from the original CD's but it failed.

Even worse, backup is not possible when the SQL server is not running.
Of course I can backup the data files (.ldf and .mdf), but my
experience is they are useless. BCM is very restrictive and it is very
difficult to make it accept files from another installation.

Actually there was problems installing XP SP3 (stopped with "Access
denied") and therefore I had to run a special script made by microsoft
to modify some user rights in the registry and windows system files
(see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949377). After that XP SP3
installed without problems. Unfortunately BCM stopped working instead.

Hoser, did you find a solution to the problem? - or anyone else with
ideas what to do?

Thanks.

In the "SQL Server Configuration Manager" I already tried to change
the logon for MSSMLBIZ from "Build-in account: Network Service" to my
own administrator account, but it would still not start.
However, now that I read your suggestion, I tried to go to
Administrative Tools - Services and change the logon information there
- and then I was allowed to start the service :-D

Thanks for leading me on the track.
