Hello,
I have the same problem of menus and other functions (very annoying: the
import/export function) disappearing.
I didn't try all the possible fixes mentioned in this thread, in part
because I'm not a computer wiz and for example don't know how to "restart the
'sqletc'" services, but I found that the BCM was actually disabled in the
"About Microsoft Outlook > Disabled items" menu (as Raul mentioned in his
last e-mail of 4/7/2006).
After activating it, I now get an error message when starting Outlook
labeled BCM "Impossible to execute the operation. Impossible to find an
object." (or something similar. I'm running this on a French system.) ... and
the BCM menus and commands are still not there.
Does anybody have an experience with this problem now at the end of 2007?
I suspect that some aspects of the BCM have changed with an update. An
indicator for this is that the data file of a BCM database has changed.
Any help is much appreciated!
