Hi,
I am having problems connecting to BCM 2003 with a new pc i have installed
in an office. The office runs an SBS 2003 network with domain, exchange, etc.
There are 3 XP Pro machines running office 2003 with bcm. This is the 4th XP
Pro machine to connect. One machine is acting as the BCM server, the other
three can connect fine. The fourth can not reach the database.
I have granted all the necessary access through BCM sharing, I have even
granted access through the SQL Server engine. There are no file sharing
issues, the firewall has an open port to BCM on the server. All SQL services
are running on the host machine. The SQL engine is 2005.
The actual error is " No Business Contact Manager for Outlook databases
could be found on computer ohands. Confirm that a shared database exist, that
you have been given access to the database, and that both computers are using
the same version of Business Contact Manager for Outlook."
All versions of Office and BCM are the same.
Please help.
