According to MS tech support, it is because One Note needs to have a seperate
audio and video device feeding it. One assembles the output of these devices
into one wmv file. So my digital video camera is only recognized by onenote
as a video device, but not an audio and video device. This is the same thing
I see when viewing audio devices in the sound control panel.
