See if you can find a standalone download of Office SP3 (usually will say
something about being for system administrators or something). These
standalone installers, while they provide the same updates, usually give
more useful information about a failure because they aren't run as
unattended installations. At least I found this to be the case many times
with things on Windows Update that didn't install correctly.
