For some reason I cannot send files as printouts to onenote. I can not
insert a file as a printout or send it to one note. The option is there
under the insert menu but is gray and unavailable to select. In addition,
"Send to One Note" is not a printer option. Please Help.

What version of OneNote are you using? What operating system? 32-bit or
64-bit? Did you try running Detect & Repair? (Help menu) Did it used to
work and then stop?

I am having the same problem. Inistalled one note as part of office 2007
enterpride edition on a new laptop with vista home premium 64 bit and the
option to print files as print outs is grayed out, there is on onenote
printer installed.

I ran diagnostics and no problems were found.

I spesifically bought a tablet PC so I could use one note to teach science
and save the notes I create for my students and it does not work

I did find a work around in that I can share the Note book with an XP

It kind of defeats the idea of saving time with computers if you have to

How can Microsoft ship an operating system that will not work with its two
