What version of OneNote are you using? If it's 2007 then click "Share |
Create a Shared Notebook" to start that wizard.

Ben,
I'm using 2007 version of onenote. So all I have to do is load onto my
server and create a shared notebook?

Well all workstations on the LAN need to have their own licensed copy of
OneNote 2007 installed,

Each workstation can then access the Shared Notebook(s) on the server and
OneNote handles the updating, data merging, conflict management etc in the
Shared Notebooks(s).

You load OneNote on the workstations but you create the shared notebook
(data file) on the server. The best way is to create a shared folder on
the server you can use for OneNote files and locate the shared notebooks
there using Share | Create a Shared Notebook.
