OneNote just ate my work!!

I had written a page full of handwritten notes and was modifying a
handdrawing by "lasso-ing" parts of the sketch in order to move it a bit
sideways when suddenly the entire remainder of that page (i.e. ALL content
below that sketch - about an hour's work!) disappeared!

I quickly tried a few undo's to get my notes back but they did not reappear!
They are lost! How can that be???

I am very frustrated because if that happens again I will have to revert to
paper and pencil again! I simply can not afford to have that happen every
now and then!

Just being a little hopeful here, is the text possibly being covered by the
sketch now? You won't be able to "see through" anything if a image is on top
of something else. if not, make sure you scroll over to the right and left
and up and down as far as possible -- sometimes my screen gets shifted and I
don't realize I'm now working off to the right, and the rest of the page is
now to the left of me. Or maybe your work got shifted off to the right and
down where you can't see it.

If not, MAYBE a backup was made at an intermediate stage of your work, check
"file" "open backup". Those are all my ideas.

Yep - the backup still contained my text. I found it before reading your
append, but thanks nonetheless!

Hadn't even known about that backup feature until I really needed it,
but good to know it's there!

Cheers,
