The tray icon for my OneNote 2007 on Vista suddenly disappeared. There
seems to be no way to get it back. I've checked the task manager and
confirmed that OneNote is running. The tray icon on OneNoted is also
being checked. So, how can I get tray icon back?

Open Onenote
Tools|Options
go to Other: category
make sure first checkbox "Place OneNOte icon in the notification area of the
taskbar" is checked.

I have encountered the same problem with the OneNote icon not appearing in
the system tray area any longer. I have made sure the checkbox noted below
is checked and it still doesn't appear. I have unchecked/exited OneNote,
launched OneNote and rechecked the box and still no icon.

I am using ON2007 and Windows Vista.

Thoughts?
