Hi Clancolin,
I'm wondering if this posting might be coming from a previous thread. I

Unfortunately I can not see what this refers to :-(

OK, that's the way to do things.

Yes, one can leave the "Unfiled" notebook on each computer. But over
time I found that it was the source of confusion and especially the
danger of creating doubled pages if one does not really clean up the
section day by day. So I have the "Unfiled " notebook shared too.

It seems that you did not *close* the notebooks on your laptop.
Just close all of the notebooks.
Then run optimization and close ON.
Open ON again and then open the notebooks one-by-one from the shared
directory (you O-drive).
You should the see the little synchronization icon on the header of the
notebooks - in green if synching has fully been performed and red if
not.
That's all.
